Setting out from Hotel Laguna, you could choose the 146 km round trip ‘Northern Loop’ through Boreen Point, Elanda Point, Kin Kin and Cooran; the 91 km ‘Central Loop’ taking in Pomona, Cooroy and Lake Macdonald; or the 80 km ‘Southern Loop’ through Doonan, Eumundi, Cooroy and Tinbeerwah.

On the Northern Loop, don’t miss:

• the historic Apollonian Hotel, in Boreen Point, with its pub-style menu, wide verandas and authentic colonial setting;
• kangaroos wandering through the trees at the Elanda Point Eco Camp on the shores of Lake Cootharaba where you can hire a range of water craft;
• good old country hospitality in the village of Kin Kin – Country Life Hotel, Kin Kin General Store – fresh local ingredients
• Broadmeadows Farm with their graceful alpacas
• Cooloola Berries where you can pick your own strawberries and blueberries & enjoy handcrafted ice-cream!

On the Central Loop, check out:

• the historic town of Pomona with its view of magnificent 439 metre high Mt Cooroora, and home to the world’s oldest authentic silent movie theatre – the iconic Majestic Theatre, quaint cafes and antique stores
• heart of the Noosa Hinterland, Cooroy, where you’ll discover cafes, cupcake stores, breweries, gifts shops and boutiques. There’s also the Mill Place Precinct, an interactive indoor and outdoor hub that honours the town's heritage past as a thriving timber town.
• beautiful Noosa Botanic Gardens on the shores of Lake Macdonald and see native and exotic plants, wildlife and a stunning lakefront Greek-style amphitheatre
• on the way back to Hotel Laguna, stop at Mt Tinbeerwah, leave your car and take your supplies along the sealed track leading to a viewing area and be rewarded with stunning panoramic views from coast to hinterland
